Our Rubies are genuine gemstones – just formed over a period of weeks in a lab instead of millions of years ago underground. Unlike imitation gemstones, lab-grown gemstones are chemically, physically and optically identical to their natural counterparts. They are graded in the same way as natural gemstones and it takes an extremely trained eye, high magnification and other specialist instruments to tell the difference.

Lab-grown gemstones have a lighter carbon footprint than mined gemstones. They also have fewer flaws and inclusions because of the controlled environment that they are grown in.
